As Lonely-Made, orgulhosamente acompanhadas, têm o prazer de divulgar este rosto que resultou do desafio "Dá o rosto ao Manifesto". Em breve, o que divulgamos como foto, será um dos rostos das Lonely-Made e aparecerá com frequência por aqui. Obrigada Tash! Em breve publicaremos mais!

Importa ainda explicar a origem da expressão "Dá o rosto ao Manifesto!", utilizada para lançar este desafio. A origem deriva de uma apropriação e deturpação da expressão portuguesa (penso que mais nenhum país a utiliza) "Dar o corpo ao Manifesto", utilizada quando alguém, sem qualquer interesse a não ser o de acreditar numa causa ou ter prazer em fazer algo, se esforça por cumprir um objectivo, sem qualquer gratificação ou contra-partida material. Assim, como o significado original da expressão é na totalidade compatível com o deste desafio, adaptámo-la aos nossos objectivos e o resultado foi "Dá o rosto ao Manifesto!".

Now, we want to explain the origin of the expression “Give your face to the Manifest!”, used to launch this challenge. The origin derives of an appropriation and disfigurement of the portuguese expression (I don't know if any other country uses it) “Give your body to the Manifest”, used when somebody, without any interest unless believe in a cause or to have pleasure in making something, responds and work hard to a challenge or situation, without any material gratification. Because the original meaning of this expression is totality compatible with the one of this challenge, the expression was adapted to our intention and the result is “Give your face to the Manifest!”.
